This four bedroom house in London was renovated by a London contractor McGrath and Sons. I worked as the project manager. This project was a great practice in working and coordinating with vendors overseas. I oversaw decorative paint and plaster, custom mantels, custom furniture, upholstery, curtains, wall covering and carpet. We incorporated and repurposed some of the clients original furnishings and family heirlooms.
We worked with upholstery, curtain workrooms and a wallpaper hanger in London; in combination with custom furniture production in NYC.
In addition to specifications, I coordinated every order, from design development, to initial estimates, to invoicing, to purchase orders. I organized the shipment of furniture from New York to London, as well as managing the window treatment, carpet and furniture installations.
